Córdoba can be considered the heart of Argentina for its strategic location and excellent access to all directions of the country. Located 441 miles from Buenos Aires, it is one of the most developed provinces of the country and has the second highest population (after the capital). Cultural and touristic, traditional and modern, industrial and artisan, Córdoba is one of the most important economic centers of the country.

This region is characterized by impressive mountain ranges, mild climate, beautiful natural scenery and impressive colonial architectural monuments. The region’s mountains form cords of varying altitudes and beautiful valleys and are also the perfect location for enjoying nature and adventure activities, especially paragliding.

Here, rainwater is transformed into rivers, crystalline streams, cascades, water basins and exuberant waterfalls that generate reservoirs and dikes, ideal for boating and water sports. Its territory is also known for its famous car races and its first-class golf courses.

Some of the region’s productive valleys are dedicated to cultivating aromatic herbs and to the production of regional food products such Cordovan cookies and delicious sausages and cold cuts.

Its capital possesses an intense cultural, commercial and university life. Once the sun sets, the city’s nightlife comes alive and is manifested in the many music shows available. The quartet is the traditional music of Córdoba, of which the famous Mona Giménez and the remembered Rodrigo, are the greatest examples. Their dances are also icons of our country. Fernet with cola, as the Cordovans call it, is the typical drink of the area with which to receive guests.

Córdoba is a city that should be experienced and enjoyed fully any time of the year.
