Today I’d like to offer a short guide to couples wanting to honeymoon in Argentina. We know that a honeymoon is a very special occasion, one that you would like to be filled with unforgettable experiences. We also know that few people are rich. Luckily, it’s not necessary to be rich in order to have a spectacular honeymoon to an out of the ordinary location.

Here are some tips that I would share with any friend who would like to spend their honeymoon in Argentina:

1 – Purchase your international plane ticket as far in advance as possible through eDreams, the earlier the better the price. This search engine tends to have the best prices available because of the volume of tickets it sells. In addition, this way you don’t have to pay for a service that you could easily do yourself.

2- Check out our “Guide to Argentina”. This way you’ll be able to pick out exactly what you would like to see. You can subscribe to the Argentravel Newsletter and download the “Guide to Argentina” as a welcome gift”

3- Decide which places you’d like to see. My recommendation is that you visit the 2 must-sees of Argentina: the Iguazú Falls and the Perito Moreno Glacier. You can then add days in Buenos Aires according to your cultural interests… the more interests you have the more time you can spend. Finally, choose between the end of the earth, lakes, whales, wineries and the indigenous north. It’s not possible to see everything unless you go for an entire month.

4- Once you’ve purchased your international airline ticket and know exactly where you would like to travel to, buy your domestic airline tickets via the Aerolíneas Argentinas’ website. There is a voucher called “Visite Argentina” that greatly reduces the prices of internal flights. Click on this link to see more details regarding this offer.

5- Now you can relax and contact me (paula.colantonio@argentravel.es) so that I can find you the best quality hotels in your price range, organize transfers to and from the airport and hotel, find you the best prices for different excursions and also price out activities such as horseback riding, full moon tours at the Falls, tango classes, etc.

Another option is to do it yourself; however, it will take a lot of time. If a problem arises while you are there, you won’t have access to local support and in reality you won’t be saving a lot of money compared to the effort and risk that is involved. This is why we experts are here to help… :)
